This is a real frightening nightmare: a Griever from The Maze Runner books by James Dashner. They are violent creatures which lurk and hunt at night, and often hinder the Gladers in their quest to escape the Glade through the surrounding Maze. They have no mersy if they get close enough.
I absolutely loved the book!! and since I met these creatures in my mind, I just couldn't stop myself to try and draw the horrible way they are in my mind.

EDIT: Years have passed, and... I'm afraid I still prefer my own concept by far over the spider-inspired creatures the movie came out with. lol, sorry.

I've yet to see the movie, so I don't know how a griever is portrayed, however of all deviations I've seen on this subject, this is by far the closest to how I imagined them. Well done
